RAILBLAZA at ICAST 2025: A Fresh Look, Innovative Gear & Big Debut

August 25th, 2025 | Matt Phillips

After a few years away from ICAST, RAILBLAZA returned to Orlando this July with a booth that turned heads and a suite of products that proved the brand hasn’t been sitting still. The team used the show to unveil a completely fresh look, a modular push pole that has flats anglers buzzing, and a renewed commitment to helping adventurers rig their own journey – whether that journey takes place on the water, on a vehicle rack or somewhere entirely new.

A Reimagined Booth

Our 2025 booth wasn’t just a display; it was an experience. Built by the talented crew at BCI Packaging, the stand used hexagon‑shaped panels and reclaimed cardboard to echo our honeycomb logo and to showcase sustainable design. Huge panels proclaimed “Built in Texas” and “Your gear has trust issues – we’re the solution”, while the new green and tan color palette tied everything together. Visitors commented that they hadn’t seen RAILBLAZA on the show floor in years and were excited by the fresh energy of the space.

Beyond the graphics, the booth served as a physical expression of our brand philosophy. As our brand guidelines remind us, we are tinkerers, testers and makers who refuse to settle for “good enough”. We build mounts worth getting attached to and design tools that give you the confidence to push farther into the unknown. That spirit of innovation was on full display in Orlando.

Innovative Products on Display

Headlining our product line‑up was the new Trident Carbon Fiber Modular Push Pole, purpose‑built for shallow‑water anglers. Manufactured from 100 percent Toray 24‑ton carbon fiber, the pole uses filament‑wound, autoclave‑cured unidirectional carbon that offers impressive stiffness and durability compared with roll‑wrapped designs. Its modular design uses seven‑foot sections, allowing anglers to assemble a 14‑foot (two‑piece) or 21‑foot (three‑piece) pole. They were on display for the first time at ICAST and will be available soon through dealers and our web store.

We also previewed The Mule, our recently launched hybrid inflatable fishing platform. Designed for anglers who need a stable deck that fits in a small car trunk, the Mule pairs perfectly with our C‑Tug cart and modular mount system. This combination drew many visitors to the booth, highlighting how RAILBLAZA products work together to let you build exactly the setup you need.

A New Chapter for RAILBLAZA

ICAST wasn’t just about products; it marked the debut of our refreshed brand identity. The new logo, fonts and colors come from months of reflection on who we are and what we stand for. As our brand guidelines explain, we fit the Innovator archetype: we ask “Why not?” and help you chart new courses. We don’t just sell rod holders or mounts; we design tools that empower you to rig your own adventure and experience the outdoors to the fullest. That’s why our voice balances technical detail with humor and confidence – you’ll see taglines like “Mounting solutions to swear by, not at” and “Gumption sold separately” throughout our booth materials.

This evolution also reflects our journey from New Zealand to Texas. We’ve spent the last year moving production and design to the U.S., allowing us to build products faster, reduce shipping distances and support the local community. It’s part of a bigger mission: to help boaters, paddlers, hunters and campers do more outdoors by providing mounting solutions that work across kayaks, boats, trucks and beyond.

Looking Ahead

The response at ICAST confirmed that our fans are ready for what’s next. Dealers were eager to stock the Trident push poles, content creators stopped by to film the Mule rigged with rod holders and cameras, and long‑time customers told us they felt the new booth captured the heart and soul of RAILBLAZA. We’re grateful to everyone who stopped by the booth and shared their stories.

Stay tuned as we roll out these products later this year and continue to expand our lineup of vehicle mounts and accessories. And if you missed us in Orlando, don’t worry – the adventure is just getting started.
