Pull it tight as you would any other cam strap.
Since it only weighs 120 pounds this would be perfect for it.
You can use the C-Tug Double-Up bar to tie 2 C-Tugs together and use it towards the middle of the Gheenoe. this will distribute the weight properly and allow you to steer without issue.

I was skeptical… but this canoe cart is great! Excellent price point easy to put together and works like a charm. Our family got a 15 foot old town canoe recently and we have a very steep driveway from our garage to water. We’re trying to figure out something that could make it easier to carry it down. I ended up writing old town Canoe to see if they had any recommendations and they recommended this among a few other others. I went with this because it was $100 on sale plus the welcome code made it a heck of a steel. It’s really awesome rolls over the asphalt onto the gravel onto the dirt like a charm super lightweight great quality. The only thing I would say is the kickstand feels a little cheap, like it might eventually break off, but so far so good. Overall, very happy with our purchase, my son and I were able to roll this down to the water and launch it with ease!
For canoes and wee boats, this is gold so I can only give it 5 stars.
The reason I bought this was for an efoil. They are heavy and awkward to carry into the water and you can’t drag them. This is so far the best/lightest solution. Modified pads and different straps would make it perfect for this growing, mind blowing water sport.
Haven’t used it yet, but the kickstand seems very flimsy.
This cart is dramatically easier to use in *every* respect than the old-fashioned aluminum X with foam bumpers I had previously, and I’m hauling around a full size Merrimack canoe! It’s fantastic, and I wish I’d gotten it sooner.
