Q & A
The RAILBLAZA RIBPort with 3M VHB is explicitly designed for use on PVC and Hypalon inflatable surfaces. I would recommend using 2 part epoxy like JB Weld Marine.
Use a Lanyard: Always tether the GoPro or boom to a D-ring or another secured point.
Recommend:
Limit Arm Length: Prefer short, low-profile mounts like the Camera Mount Adaptor or Camera Mount R-Lock, which place less stress on the RIBPort.
Test Before Rapids: Apply the mount during warm weather, wait the full curing period, and test in calm water conditions.
Alternative Mounting Options: For heavy-duty use, consider mechanically mounted StarPorts on rigid surfaces like hard cooler lids or frames (if applicable).
its best to keep it in the "action camera" like GoPro sized cameras. I would say its not going to do well with more of a SLR type camera. if you have a lightweight point and shoot it could work also. Mostly just because of the length of the boom.
