    This green style rod holder is way thicker then the black with the rubber strap I had the black one snap from a big catfish the plastic just broke in half and drug my pole in the water luckily I was able to grab it before it went under but this green one is looking way more durable

    If you could make these to fit a rod with a trigger grip then they would be perfect. My favorite bait casting rod just won’t sit in the rod holders properly. I’m looking at them to see if I can modify one to fit this rod. Suggestions would be appreciated.
