Pro team member Chris Castro just ticked off a bucket list fish from his Old Town Predator fishing kayak and he captures the whole adventure for us on the Camera booms. This one is an epic journey, enjoy! 

“After numerous heartbreaks, I finally get a crack at the one I’ve always wanted. This cobia comes in at 57” and weighing 54.27lbs. This entire week has been magical leading up to this moment. Double kings, flying kings, and this here Haas.

Nothing went right. Cobia GG’d my gaff out my hand, and when I thought she was ready, she was not. Too much tension snapped my rod, Marshall tossed a gaff mid-air (don’t try that at home). I went to town on her head with a bat. Bat broke, but she turned white… The fight was done, and I came home with a check off the bucket list.
