We don't just conquer the wild—we take care of it too. Because let’s face it, if the lakes dry up, the trails close down, and the fish stop biting, what’s left to mount a rod holder on?
At RAILBLAZA, we’re hellbent on preserving the very playground we build gear for. That’s why sustainability isn’t some side project—it’s baked into every product we design, every material we choose, and every process we optimize. From day one to done deal, we cut waste, slash emissions, and engineer for endurance. Our products are built tough to last long, because the only thing worse than weak gear is replacing it every season.
We’re not stopping at durable gear, either. Since 2018, we’ve been running in-line recycling at our molding plant—churning out better parts while reclaiming around 10 tons of plastic a year. That’s less garbage in the wild and more grind in your gear.
And when we’re not inventing the next best mount, we’re rolling up our sleeves with conservation crews—supporting habitat restoration, biodiversity protection, and grassroots education programs. Because a thriving backcountry beats a used-up one any day.
So go ahead, rig your next big adventure. We’ll keep doing our part to make sure there’s still a wild out there worth exploring—for your next trip and the ones your grandkids haven’t even dreamed up yet. Sustainability isn’t just smart. It’s the only way forward.
RAILBLAZA was born in New Zealand, a place where the rivers run clean, the air bites back, and nature still calls the shots. So yeah, we take sustainability personally. Our backyard is one of the world’s cleanest—and we intend to keep it that way.
That starts inside our manufacturing facility, where we go all-in on sustainability from sketch to shipping crate. We handpick plastics that cut out chemicals of high concern, prioritize recyclability, and give waste a second shot at usefulness. Our in-line recycling setup lets us claw back scraps before they ever hit a landfill, and we’ve been running it since 2018—reclaiming about 10 tons of plastic per year like it’s just part of the job.
New Zealand’s energy grid? It’s running on over 80% renewables like hydro and geothermal, and we plug right into that clean power. Plus, we avoid co-molding unless absolutely necessary because it makes post-consumer recycling a mess—and we’re not about leaving future generations a problem we could’ve fixed today.
Transparency isn’t a buzzword for us—it’s a responsibility. We’ll tell you exactly what goes into our gear, even if it costs a bit more to make. Because the real price is paid when you don’t.
We don’t just design for performance. We design for the planet. Because rigging your next epic trip shouldn’t come at Earth’s expense.

Effective packaging is key when striving to reduce costs and environmental waste. During the design phase, we prioritize cardboard over plastics for packing purposes whenever possible. In addition, an innovative approach to recycle cable ties has enabled us cut down on landfill significantly; transforming offcuts into usable materials with a simple process shift!
Reusing materials is now embedded in the company culture! Our employees are taking action by bringing plastic containers from their own homes to be reused, setting an example for others. Even our suppliers adopted this mission and work with us towards a more sustainable future. By joining forces, small steps can lead up to big impact - proving that together we have great power to create positive change.
